On the afternoon of May 20th, delegation led by WEI Xuemin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Eastern Michigan Joint College of Engineering at Beibu Gulf University, and DENG An'an, Secretary of the Party Committee of College of Electronics and Information Engineering at Beibu Gulf University, visited College of International Education at South China Agricultural University for exchanges and research. Party leaders and faculty representatives of College of International Education attended the symposium.

Dean FENG Lixin warmly welcomed Secretary WEI Xuemin and Secretary DENG An’an and the delegation. He introduced the development of international education at SCAU, particularly the establishment, operation, and progress of Sino-foreign cooperative education institution and the programs of the college, and initiatives for international students. Secretary Wei and Secretary Deng expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and provided an overview of the development of the Eastern Michigan Joint College of Engineering and College of Electronics and Information Engineering at Beibu Gulf University. They also spoke highly of the remarkable achievements in international education at SCAU.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on advancing high-quality international education, building innovative talent cultivation models with Sino-foreign cooperative education features, and enhancing English-taught curricula for international students, as well as recruitment, management, and support services.

This visit deepened the friendly exchanges between the two universities. Both parties agreed to continue strengthening communication and collaboration to promote mutual development, further enhance the quality and efficiency of Sino-foreign cooperative education, and advance the high-quality development of international education at both institutions.
