On March 31, 2025, Director Wang Liming and delegation from the Confucius Institute at University College Dublin, Ireland, visited College of International Education at South China Agricultural University for visit and research. Xiao Yuhan, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Office, and the college's Party leaders warmly received the guests, and both sides held a friendly and in-depth discussion.

Secretary Shao Jiasheng first extended a warm welcome to Director Wang Liming and the delegation on behalf of the college, and introduced the history, programmes, faculty, talent training model and achievements in international exchanges and cooperation of the college in recent years. He expressed the expectation that both sides would actively explore cooperation opportunities to provide more platforms for students and teachers to learn and communicate.

Director Wang Liming expressed gratitude to the college for the warm reception and introduced the development history, teaching achievements of the Confucius Institute at University College Dublin, as well as promotion of Chinese language and culture. He hoped that this exchange would strengthen future cooperation and inject new vitality into the cooperation between the two universities.
