On the morning of July 5, Zeng Hongxia, Secretary of the General Party Branch and Dean of Joint Institute of Huazhong Agricultural University and Lincoln University, along with a delegation of four members, visited our College for research and exchange. Dean of our College Feng Lixin, Vice Deans Hao Gang and Wu Ying attended the meeting.

Dean Feng Lixin warmly welcomed Secretary Zeng Hongxia and her delegation, and provided an overview of the development process and achievements of Sino-foreign cooperative education in our university.

Secretary Zeng Hongxia expressed gratitude for the warm reception extended by our College and provided an overview of the establishment of Joint Institute of Huazhong Agricultural University and Lincoln University. She highlighted that Guangzhou Dublin International College of Life Sciences and Technology possesses extensive experience and remarkable achievements in running the program. The establishment of Joint Institute of Huazhong Agricultural University and Lincoln University was approved by the Ministry of Education this year and it is expected that this research visit would offer valuable insights and support for the new institute's construction and development in the future.

The two parties subsequently engaged in a discussion regarding the establishment of the Party and the Youth League, management structure, operational mechanism, teaching team, personnel training, quality assurance, support services, innovative practices, and cultural development.

Staffs from General Committee Office (Student Affairs Office), Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Office (English Teaching Center) participated in the discussion meeting.

This research visit has further deepened our mutual understanding and strengthened our friendship. Both parties have agreed to enhance connectivity, facilitate the high-quality development of Sino-foreign cooperative education, advance the construction of 'double first-class' institutions, and promote shared development.
