★Speak for the Food Quality and Safety Program
As young people in the new era, our goal is to integrate national development with our own growth. The program of Food Quality and Safety (Sino-Foreign cooperation program) at South China Agricultural University is a national specialty. Our college prides itself on an outstanding team of teachers and the distinctive feature of Sino-foreign cooperation education. We adhere to international standards, embrace diverse perspectives such as Sustainable Development Goals, develop our unique learning methods and academic thinking more rapidly, and cultivate a habit of seeking guidance from teachers when faced with challenges. Furthermore, we have access to superior foreign teaching resources and academic research materials (such as EAP, Global Scale of English, textbooks from the University of Cambridge, library resources from University College Dublin). During our free time, we participate in extracurricular activities where we engage in academic and cultural exchanges with students from around the world while getting to know many fascinating teachers and classmates.
As a student in Food Quality and Safety major (Sino-foreign cooperative program), our focus is on enhancing proficiency in both chemistry and English. In addition to meeting the diverse teaching objectives and professional demands of high schools, we also prioritize refining our learning methods. Personally, upon entering university, I was the lowest-ranked English student within my major. However, through the systematic pedagogical approach at our institution and my proactive attitude towards learning, I managed to ascend to the top position by the end of my freshman year. Throughout college, I adapted myself to the instructional model of Sino-foreign cooperative education and instilled a mindset of optimism into my academic pursuits and daily lives. This not only bolstered my own work ability but also garnered numerous accolades during my undergraduate studies—laying a solid groundwork for successful postgraduate endeavors.
